The apache benchmark tool is very basic, and while it will give you a solid idea of some performance.

Some parameters:

This is a simple example of a web service. For the example, We will make a service to multiply two numbers.

Create JSON WebService module

Create a module.

Here : mywebservice

Install Solr 5.4.1 on Debian Linux

Step 1. Install JAVA 7 (In not already installed)

sudo apt-get install openjdk-7-jdk

Step 1: Activate RESTful Webservice

Active modules:
HAL (hal)
RESTful Web Services (rest)    
HTTP Basic Authentication (basic_auth)

Download and active contrib modules:
REST UI (restui)
